The firm’s managing partner, Miss Eliza Chang represented the Hong Kong Society of Notaries to attend and support the One Country Two Systems and “The Belt and Road” Initiative International Law Conference organized by the Hong Kong Basic Law Education Association on 3 December 2022 at Kerry Hotel.
This conference was hosted by the Hong Kong Basic Law Education Association and co-organized by School of Law, City University of Hong Kong; Zhejiang University Academy of International Strategy and Law (China); International Academy of The Belt and Road (Hong Kong SAR, China); The Hong Kong WTO Research Institute and Academy of Role of Law and State Governance of ShangHai University of International and Business And Economics.
The Conference contained 4 sessions : (1) One Country Two Systems and the Rule of Law infrastructure; (2) OBOR and Global Economy, Geo-politics and Culture; (3) OBOR and Contemporary International Law—Compatibility with the Existing Framework; and (4) Challenges and Future of OBOR—Legal Perspectives. The organizers had invited many well-known personalities and professionals to deliver speeches on the above topics.
